When and where?
The National Scout Jamboree will take place in Bodø, in Northern Norway, from 1 July to 8 July 2017.

If you wish to receive any mail during the camp, please use this address:
Nord 2017
[Name], [scout group] Forskerveien 17
8076 BODØ
Norway

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday evening (1 July), and the Closing Ceremony will be held on Friday evening (7 July). If any groups would like to arrive in Bodø a few days before the jamboree begins or stay for some extra days, this will be possible. On these days, the groups will have access to basics such as toilets, pioneering poles and firewood (for an extra fee per person). It will be possible to order food supplies to be collected from the Thursday before the jamboree until the Sunday after the jamboree.

Food can also be ordered from breakfast on 29 June to breakfast on 1 July and from dinner on 8 July 8 to lunch on 10 July.

Check out the page «Food» to read more about this.

Who?
Nord 2017 welcomes Norwegian and international scouts, rovers and leaders. The scouts, aged 10 to 16, stay with their groups, while rovers (born 2001 or earlier) are welcome to join as IST/staff, live in the rover camp and take part in rover activities or participate as leaders in their groups.

There will unfortunately be no Home Hospitality organised from the Jamboree’s side, but maybe you can find a friendship group who wants to welcome you?
